generator efficiency is 50%, cubic-ft needed to make 1000MW of electricity for 1 year?

A gas fired turbine generator for producing electricity has a 50% efficiency. how much cubic-ft is needed to produce 1000 MW of electricity for one year?

I am extremely stumped. is there a formula or something i’m missing?

  1. Mike M. says:

I think there should be some more information. Usually a problem like this will give you the amount of energy from the source of power, so you can calculate the power produced based off of the efficiency.

And also, 1000 Megawatts is just a Gigawatt.
