I ride around for about 8 hours a day for my job and want to get a Duracell Powerpack and charge it off of my battery and then come home, plug it into the wall and send that electricity back into the grid…is this possible and if so how? I know that electricity can be sent back into the grid, I just don’t know how.
Can I use a Powerpack like Duracell makes to feed electricity back into the grid?

Possible but not practical.
I assume you mean charge the battery from your bicycle?
The most you will get is about 500 watt-hours in a day, which the power company will pay you about 25¢ or less. That’s about $50 a year. But you will need to install a few thousand dollars worth of equipment to do this, and the power company will charge you a hefty monthly fee, so I doubt it will work out.
edit, correcting arith error in paragraph above, that should be about 2.5¢ or less. That’s about $5 a year.
.
Assuming Billruss’s numbers are right (500 watts sounds reasonable). My electricity cost 7.5 cents per KWH, so that is a whopping 3.25 cents a day. The cost of the inverter and replacement batteries will certainly out weigh the savings. Now also consider the additional friction caused by the generator and the weight of the batteries, this will increase your food consumption. You don’t get nothing for free. I am sure you will eat through that 3.5 cents a day in no time.
